Thank you for choosing www.micondominio.com . We want to share our experience as well as understanding and possibly help you solve issues related with citizen's involment in their communities and condominums. Our site was originally designed to aid neighbours living in condominiums in Venezuela. We listen to their problems and offer answers according to our laws and realities. But we have begun to receive experiences from other spanish speaking countries. This presentation in your language seeks to open a window so that you can get to know our work but also to hear from you and the problems and solutions that you have created to improve the quality of life in your condominiums. Today, 15% of our visitors come from other nations including non spanish speaking countries.
Mi Condominio.com, is a social enterprise. It aims at citizen's education for cohabitation, organization and participation and the development of social capital in condominiums. Our moto is "Learning to live in comunity to make Venezuela a country of co-owners" because we want that in each comunity we can begin to image the nation that we want to be".
We currently offer support to condominiums through www.micondominio.com . There, you can find a magazine, a radio and TV internet broadcasting station avaliable 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. But you can also find our columns in national and regional newspapers all over Venezuela addresing frequently asked questions as well as organizing workshops in Caracas and in other highly populated cities of the country.
In april 2008, Caracas was the world capital for cohabitation and citizen's participation and served as home for two international events that promoted the creation of the International Web of Cohabitation and Citizen's Participation currently based in Venezuela. We are workinfg towards the Second International Meeting of Condominum Law and the Second International Meeting on Cohabitation and Citizen's Participation in the year 2010.
